Miracle seekers beware; Pastor uses rubber snake to anoint oil

Miracle seekers are easily excited by tricks that do not even constitute a miracle. Many in these so-called-modern day prophetic churches are becoming more and more like a crowd at a circus.  Mesmerised by the magicians tricks and wowed by the animals they clap hands.  Applauding and loudly cheering every move and word said and every trick performed.

Just this past week we had Uebert Angel who fashions himself as the god father of the modern day prophetic movement, performing what he calls shoes size reduction miracles. (So if one is tired of being a size 10, Uebert can miraculously reduce the size of your foot to a small size 8).

Then of course there is the case of Lesego Daniel who masquerades as a pastor in Pretoria. This is the same guy who fed his congregates grass and got them drinking petrol. Yes, he is back this time he is preaching with a rubber snake and he is using it to anoint oil and water which is selling like hot cake. While some men and women of God choose to look away and pretend not to see this debauchery I will confront these charlatans head-on.

Charged and powered by Ephesians 5; 10-11 “Determine which things please the Lord. Have nothing to do with the useless works that darkness produces. Instead, expose them for what they are.”

These are charlatans not  Men of God

I have been accused of speaking negatively against men of God by followers of these Charlatans. But, let me be clear I don’t consider these men to be representative of God at all. Thus, I feel impressed to speak today against the devil and his angels, these charlatans —the source and mainspring of all evil. I do so prayerfully, because Satan is not an enlightening subject. I consider him to be the great imitator.

My principal reason for choosing this subject is to help particularly our miracle chasing people by warning them, as Paul said, “lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor. 2:11). I hope that the miracle chaser and people, unfamiliar with the sophistries of the world, can keep themselves free of Satan’s enticements and deceitful ways.

The mischief of devil worship, sorcery, casting spells, witchcraft, voodooism, black magic, and all other forms of demonism have been brought to the pulpit by these sleekly dressed, smooth talkers who are quoting scripture and passing off shoe size tricks as miracles. These charlatans should be avoided like the plague.

The only safe course is to keep well distanced from these devils and any of their wicked activities or nefarious practices.

Crazy Miracles what’s your shoe size?

They will draw you in with the promise of instant wealth, prosperity and health. Americans in Massachusetts got a taste of what Uebert Angel called crazy miracles. Miracle credit score, and all sorts of nefarious staged tricks passed of as miracles, sprinkled with a scripture here and a story about wealth there.

Like a moth to a flame many miracle chasers who hear these promises of instant wealth, miracle money and shoe size reductions rush towards the enticings of the devil. They unwittingly rush towards these charlatans because their voices often sound so reasonable and their message so easy to justify. It is an enticing, intriguing voice with dulcet tones. It is neither hard nor discordant.

No one would listen to Satan’s voice if it sounded harsh or mean. If the devil’s voice were unpleasant, it would not entice people to listen to it.

Shakespeare wrote, “The prince of darkness is a gentleman” (King Lear, act 3, sc. 4, line 143), and “the devil can cite Scripture for his purpose” (The Merchant of Venice, act 1, sc. 3, line 95). As the great deceiver, Lucifer has marvelous powers of deception. As Paul said to the Corinthians, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14; see also 2 Ne. 9:9).

Snake on the pulpit

Never be fooled by the fact that these tricksters are performing snake tricks and shoe size tricks from the pulpit. Just because it’s done on the pulpit it doesn’t make it Godly or right!

Remember the prince of darkness can be found everywhere. He is often in very good company. Job said, “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord” (Job 2:1). His influence is everywhere: “And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (Job 2:2).

Satan has had great success with this gullible generation. As a consequence, literally hosts of people have been victimized by him and his angels. There is, however, an ample shield against the power of Lucifer and his hosts. This protection lies in the spirit of discernment through the gift of the Holy Ghost. This gift comes undeviatingly by personal revelation to those who strive to obey the commandments of the Lord. It comes from seeking knowledge and wisdom from the holy bible.

I pray that, through the spreading of righteousness, the evil hands of the destroyer might be stayed and that he may not be permitted to curse the whole world.
